Re: Vacuum hoses
Greg, I took a closer look and I believe that the 2 small hoses are Ferrari only items in use. I think they are run to the air box only for convenience in the Fiat. In the Ferrari motor I believe that they are part of the "Crankcase Gases and Oil Fumes Ventilation System". The Crankcase is...

Re: Vacuum hoses
I believe there are 2 hoses that go from the crankcase to the air cleaner housing to burn off crankcase fumes.

Re: Early Plastic Steering Wheel
Thanks for your reply and photos. I am fairly certain that I read in a period advert or book that the early cars had leather wrapped steering wheels. If I examine mine it seems that the insert around the front face is there to hold the leather in place (no stitching would be requited). I can see som...

DCN Accelerator Pump Shot
Group,
Has anyone looked down the carb throats when the accelerator pump is sending a shot of fuel? Is the fuel a strong steam or more of a dribble?
Thanks for any input.

Distributor Oil Seal
Group, To change the drive oil seal on a 2 litre, one needs to remove the drive unit from the head. It is my understanding that this unit should twist out. Is this correct?

Distributor Service
I was curious as to what interval a basic distributor service is required to be done and what is involved. Is it a time or mileage interval? As the car is only run about 1/2 the year and stored the other half, and with the orientation in the horizontal plane does this create any issues to maintain p...

Re: Coupe 2000 Instrument Bezels
My car also has black bezels, but I have seen cars with gold bezels as well. Mine is an early 67 and the car with gold bezels was a 68.
