Re: Dash vent needed for Fiat dino coupe’ 2400

Hi,

Yours is assembled or turned upside down. First check if the knob is still there on the other side, you may be surprised.

It seems the same type of eye ball vent as in an Alfa Romeo (several types). I do have two of those vents with an OD of 72 mm.

Re: Hood vent and side vent versions

It doesn't seem that they've ever been black. I only have 2000 frames (without turn signals) and at least one set has been assembled with one set of flat vents. I don't know the history however. http://www.degreins.nl/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/SideVentsAll.jpg Yes, I have a surplus. I'm inventoryin...

Hood vent and side vent versions

Does anyone know to what Dine version the flat vents belong?
I've searched a while and all examples I can find show the vents with the humps, for 2000 and 2400.

Re: First or second series of a Fiat Dino 2,0 Litre?

Hi Dinoswede,

Thanks for the explanation. So in case of the introduction of the wooden steering wheel it's a "To Be Defined" for the Coupe.

Thanks,

Michiel

Re: First or second series of a Fiat Dino 2,0 Litre?

I thought the leather wrapped bakelite steering wheel was equipped in early Coupe's also.
I've acquired a very good one recently and assumed this is right for my chassis number 1324.

Re: Coupe 2400 engine removal

Thanks. That sounds like the least complicated way then, I'll do so.

Re: Coupe 2400 engine removal

Hi all, I need to get the engine out in the near future as well and assumed the from-the-bottom procedure requires a lift. In the pictures above however, I do see the engine in the pit. I do have a similar, little wider, pit and wonder how to move the Dino back from above the engine, with the comple...

Re: Dino Coupé 2000 Rosso Corsa in NL

I've got the Marelli S125 from the 105Workshop. It needs some cleaning up and checking. I was told it is a BX version, but I don't know how to verify that (all printing gone from the label, which seems normal). Or is there no difference between the A and BX? Edit: today in the outside daylight I cou...

Re: Dino Coupé 2000 Rosso Corsa in NL

It's not "just getting it running", there's more involved. To get it in perfect condition it needs new paint also. The only rust I've found is at the bottom of both front fenders (where the water is routed to), the rest of the body is in good shape, also underneath. The engine hasn't been ...
