Re: CO values 2.4l (idle)

Hi Charlie, thanks for your helpful reply, I had already modified the headers with ports ages ago by welding in stainless steel nuts, but I never used them since to be honest  Next time I tune my carbs I will definitely measure each single cylinder. I will post an update after that. Regards Bi...

Re: CO values 2.4l (idle)

Hi Georg,

thank you, mine is currently running too rich, as far as I remember about 7.5.

I will try it with 5.5. Do you measure each cylinder separately? I theoretically could measure each single cylinder through threads in the exhaust manifolds...

Thanks

CO values 2.4l (idle)

Hi everyone,

I just asked myself if there are any official exhaust gas CO values (idle) existing for the 2.4l? I couldnt find anything in the workshop manuals I know.

If nothing official exists: on what values are you running your cars?

Thank you

Regards

Re: Dino2000 Rubber Trans Mount Fit

I can only agree, there are a lot of reproduction parts on the market that do not have a good quality, so repairing the original parts is probably always the best option. In my opinion the problem is not the Chinese manufacturer of the repro parts. Instead, the problem is that the person that starts...

Re: Dino2000 Rubber Trans Mount Fit

I can only confirm its the same for the 2.4l mount, the fit is very tight. I also think the new part places the transmission a bit too high in relation to the differential. Hence, it could cause drivetrain noises. I have therefore used shims to bring it down a couple of mm.

Cooling system / thermostat disassembly

Hi all, quick question: does anyone know if I can take off part 4206603 in the attached drawing without removing the carburettor? Tavola_A4.02 (1).pdf It looks like it could be possible, but its definitely really tight and I dont wanna do it if I have to remove the carburettor. Thanks for your suppo...

Re: 2400 Coupe Engine Mounts

I also used the new rubber mounts from H&N and can confirm they are a little bit higher. I am not sure if it was a good decision to use the higher ones since removing the gearbox gets even more complicated with the engine sitting higher. If the old ones are still good I would probably keep using...

Re: Clutch pressure plate

Hi Richard, thanks for sharing all this information with us. After a long "Dino break" I have finally begun again working on my Dino this winter. I have ordered a clutch made by the Italian company E. Sassone sold by the German classic Fiat parts dealer Holtmann&Niedergerke. I measured...

Re: Dino Coupe door-lock plastic

Thank you Richard, I think I have seen some repro parts in Europe many years ago,
but as a quick research showed they seem to be sold out now everywhere I looked.
So I will probably come back to your offer referring the STL file when I will restore
the interiour of my Dino :)

Re: Rubber mounts differential 2.4

Hi Stefan, that is a good idea and the rubber may be softer than on the repro part, thanks a lot for the suggestion. I spoke to the dealer today and they assured me they sold a lot of these parts already and never heard of any problems with drive train vibration/noise. I may be naive but I think I w...
