Hello. Restauration process is slowly going forward. I have sorted out mostly all the bits and pieces that were missing/damaged in my coupe2400. I have some kick pannels with black vinyl, and my vinyl is blue (Door cards, center console..). Should they be blue, or black is correct? Same question app...

I have the complete bush kit waiting in the shelf.. Good to know when time comes..

Ok. I have documented a bit, and looks like my distributor has been altered. It has been reconverted to "normal" distributor style, with 2 springs. Now all that you said makes sense to me..
New parts are on the way.

I have to remove the instruments cluster to change bulbs and some cleaning/reforbish. I understand that I have to remove the top dash to remove the cluster on a 2400 coupe..

In the F308 all the bushes come with a weld spot to prevent them from rotating.

I still have to remove the paint on it, and see how rusted it is.. But it seems a good idea to me..

I will have a closer look when I'm back.
could you post the advance curve for a 2400?

Springs are not "plug & play", you need to have access to a range of springs and a distributor testing machine to set up the advance mechanism properly. Just installing a set of springs without a testing machine could either lead to a too retarded timing (less engine output, slower th...
