Re: replacing front suspension upper and lower arm bushings

I would be interested to know what sort of Spring Compressor you used to remove the road springs. You might use a spring compressor suited also for classic Mercedes-Benz cars ("Klann" type, ebay clones do the job quite well): http://www.w126-wiki.de/images/thumb/f/f8/Federspanner_MB.JPG/1...

Re: replacing front suspension upper and lower arm bushings

Hervé, I had this done just a few weeks ago by my meccanico , he used a standard hydraulic press and obviously had no problems getting the bushings in - he used some scrap metal part as a "go-between" (between control arm and press). I'd done it myself, but I don't have a press, only a vic...

Re: Off Topic - Barnfind

Well, it's not a Grale, which might have generated more interest ;) but I admit to having always had a soft spot for Lancias. Only owned one, though; Germany's second fastest Kappa 3.0, clocked at 263 km/h :o If I hadn't bought the Dino, I might have searched for a Fulvia Coupé. I do know some Lanci...

Re: Steering wheel removal

Hej Anders,

normally the 3-armed puller does the job. You might try Georg's suggestion or try to gently(!!!) and intermittently pull one side of the wheel towards you while pressing the opposite side towards the dashboard.

Best of luck,
Robert

WANTED: Dino 2400 Coupe parts

Hello, let me introduce myself first: my name's Robert, I live in Germany, and I am proud owner of a 2400 Coupé in grigio silverstone, which is currently undergoing a medium scale restoration: I had the car's underside dry ice blasted (finding not too many spots that need welding) and have removed c...
