Water temperature not working 2.0 coupe

I've checked the guage and it works so I'm guessing it must be the sender on the heads but it looks like there is one on each head. Surely they both can't be defective at the same time. Or am I missing something obvious.

Is the fuel pressure regulator permanently set

I have been trying to trace an issue with my carbs flooding and I think it may be too much fuel pressure, But looking at my pressure regulator it seems that the adjusting screw on top has been "stamped" in it's set position. I can't rotate it and don't want to apply excess force. Does anyo...

Why is my carburettor flooding.

These are the round top dcnf's on my 67 2litre coupe. The problem is the middle carb is dripping fuel as seen from the outside when the engine is idling. Then with the engine stopped it is still dripping fuel from the accelerator pump jets, pooIing up above the throttle valves. I have set the floats...

Re: Intermittent brake problem.

I suspected it was the seals in the master cylinder so disassembled it. What I found was very surprising, six raised bobbles on the first seal only closest the booster. My original seals were not like this and nor were the replacement seals from pastparts. These bobbles would actually stop the seal se...

Wiring problems

I am trying to get the two engine bay lights working in my 1967 2.0 coupe, but the wiring diagram I have is different in this regard. On the right hand bulb holder I have two blue wires going in and one black earth coming out. On the left hand bulb holder, there is one blue wire going in and one blac...

Re: Door check strap/brackets

Thanks for the image Tobi, that's what I thought it was. However I still can't figure what's the need to have the pin slightly off the vertical.

Intermittent brake problem.

After fitting a new master cylinder and fully reconditioned brake servo/booster, whilst out on a shake down drive, the pedal sometimes travels much further down past the usual position, then on the next use of the pedal it's fine. All brake calipers have new pistons and seals and worked fine before. ...
