Re: Dinoplex AEC 103 original

What a pity! They would have been a great addendum to my Dinoplex collection ;)

Re: 67 spider clock

135 AS is the type code for the 2000 Spider. This suggests that the clock is correct.

Re: Dino coupe 2000 front grill finish

Dinoparts won't have it, but you can buy such spray-on dirt in dedicated SUV stores

Early Dino up for auction

A high price is expected for this very early Dino. Might complement every collection.

Re: Question about Dinoplex C AEC101CA

Ben, be happy to have an original and working set of Dinoplex and coil. This is worth a fortune. I'd only clean the exterior with a mild detergent and a brush. Do not use any abrasive.

Re: Door check strap

Many aluminium fittings have been modified with thread and screws as seen on Georg's images. I was lucky that mine have been untouched. I've used pins and only had to convert Georg's rollers a little bit to make his solution fit again. You can see it in the German thread I've linked.

Re: Door check strap

It should be possible to find those aluminium fittings from one of the many wrecked coupes. Maybe Alfredo joins in and can offer them. I've adopted Georg's solution. It works pretty good.

Re: Nice looking 2L Spider at Dorotheum

The Spider is at least a class below the Coupe in every aspect except the engine and the susprnsion. It doesn't even have a roof :)
I've also inherited a leather interior from the previous owner. However, I'd like to have the original velour seats. But this is hard to realise.
