Re: Magneti Marelli BZR 205A ignition coil

The problem is! You just know there’s a case of these stuck in the back of a warehouse somewhere in the world. And no ones knows what the hell they are for😂😂 Everytime I drive past a Magneti Marelli sign in an old shop, I get this urge to go in and ask if they’ve got one🥴🥴 That's the hope that keep...

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I should have referenced Adrians knowledge before spreading half-facts ;)

Re: Coupe 2000 or 2400

Two external coils are used by the Dinoplex 103 setup. This might also be possible with a 101, but I have not yet tested it. Maybe there is an issue I don't know that would prevent this.

Re: Coupe 2000 or 2400

The BZR205A that is used with the Dinoplex 101 is 2 coils in 1. That's why it has 3 terminals. You can switch the coils with the EMERGENZA/NORMALE switch on the Dinoplex. If the Dinoplex fails, you switch to EMERGENZA mode and the Dinoplex will by bypassed. However, you need different coil specs for...

Re: Coupe 2000 or 2400

Coil wiring is not strange. It's the original Dinoplex setup. If it's working in Normale mode this is very good!

Re: Restoring a 2.0L 67 Fiat Dino Spider

We are adding a new electronic distributor. This car was pre-Dinoplex. Believe it or not my 246 Dino GT still had the original working Dinoplex when I sold it -- over 30 years from when it was first installed. I'd give it a try with a good or refurbished original distributor and a Dinoplex. You see...

Re: Pininfarina Classiche Service

Honestly said, I am a little bit reluctant to pay 400 Euro increasing the profit of an already highly profitable India based company. Mahindra took over the remainders of Pininfarina a couple of years ago and try to squeeze out the heritage... I agree! What's the benefit of such a certificate that ...

Re: The 'Humble' Fiat with Race Derived Ferrari V6 - Fiat Dino Coupe

By the way, the list price of the Spider was lower than the one of the Coupe ;)
