Re: Transmission mount 1967 coupe 2000
I can't remember exactly how I got the same superformance mount to go in mine but I remember it was a very tight fit. I do not believe it should be so tight but what else can you do.

Re: Door check strap
The alfa gtv strap is 95mm and too short. The Montreal strap is the same size as the dino at about 103mm.Johnny the metal part you show is only the internal part of the strap so can't be used as is.

Re: Engine bay lights
The wiring diagram shows the power comes from position G on the fuse box, but it's impossible to trace back the wires from the engine bay lights once it enters the main loom and then goes behind the dash. What I cant understand is that this system is original and has never been touched .

Re: Engine bay lights
I forgot to ask how would they normally light up. Is it only when the main lights are on or any time the bonnet is opened.

I am coming to the end of my 2lt coupe rebuild and I have managed to get all my electrical systems working with the exception of the engine bay lights. Does anyone have any advice how to proceed.

Re: Dash removal 1967 Dino Coupe
The top portion of the dash does indeed come out by it's own but is a tight fit. You may need to remove the a-pillar plastic trim(3 screws) to give you more room. The rearward straighter edge should gently come up a bit first. Note the foam surrounding the underside of the vents on the dash will hin...
