Re: IF you have plenty of $$$$
Yes, 152 Fiat red is "rosso vivo". This is exactly the color my Dino sitting in Mark's garage was delivered when being new. As far as I know that was quite rare to the Dinos

Re: IF you have plenty of $$$$
Yes, Mark is phantastic in terms of knowledge and execution. He has already shown me quite a few details about the spiders I never was aware of. Currently, he is working on a second Dino Spider 2.4, which also belongs to me. It just takes too long as he is alone in his shop and busy with other cars ...

Re: IF you have plenty of $$$$
yes, mine was also done in the US... and I had to do the whole job again in Europe. In the end it is not only about a new paint job. And the 500 km is because also... the whole engine needed to be redone. Just was finished now a few weeks ago. But you can also speak to HugoHarris... same painful exp...

Re: IF you have plenty of $$$$
Looks great... and if it nearly as perfect as it looks... worth the price. I would have loved to see some pictures from underneath.
I have a similar sample (same color combination) with just the same mileage, new engine (500 km from new), fully restored for a lightly better price.

Re: The 'Humble' Fiat with Race Derived Ferrari V6 - Fiat Dino Coupe
What I like a lot is that it reflects my experience with the coupe. First, you think, it is kind of ok but not outstanding... the driving position is something you need to get used to and so on and so forth. But then, if you are becoming aquainted and letting the engine rev it gets your enthusiasm m...

Re: Oil smoke from one exhaust
OK... why asking if completely convinced? I have been taking many engines apart in my life... if it is white... it is water... If it smells like oil, then maybe a crack in the block or in the head, so that both water and oil is getting burnt. Maybe while tightening the head bolts... or... what also ...

Re: Oil smoke from one exhaust
White is usually not an indicator for oil leakage, but for water. Another indicator is that is occurs under all driving circumstances. Maybe (most likely) the head gasket.

Re: Best sounding Dinos ranking
There have been some rear exhaust end systems without a muffler / silencer available in the 70s. But I don't know whether they are still available somewhere these days

Re: which Tyres / Tires ?
Thanks a lot for all this information. This is good to hear.
I will then go for the Pirellis.

Re: which Tyres / Tires ?
Thank you for all those tests, Ribolla. For me, personally, I am wondering a bit as the Michelin were always the desired equipment in the forums for the past 15 years. Also, I did not know that the Pirellis were the first choice while releasing the Dinos. Maybe someone can give me heads-up... was it...
