Re: super nice dino coupe 2L for sale...

we are just restoring a 2.0 coupe from scatch. I must admit... it is a love affair, otherwise the costs will never match the market price.

But it is good to see that such a good sample will receive appreciation by reaching a reasonable price.

Congratulations (also to the new owner).

Re: Newbie here from New York U.S.A.

Hi 89TC, welcome to the forum. And congratulations to your first Fiat Dino. I hope that you will bring this car back to life. Maybe just a bt of information right upfront. Please note that originaly no Fiat Dino was delivered to a country outside of Europe and... they were all LHDs. Moreover, roughl...

Re: Later model 2.0 Spider (#663) controls

Not fully correct as far as I know. The change to DCNFs happened already during 2.0 production. It is important to note that the air intake housing with the mimik of the choke are also differing with the move to DCNFs

Re: ‘67 Spider build.

665 is not an early car... as far as I know it should have already a wooden dashboard. Then... rdk is right... it was depending on the markets. And those cars were only delivered to Europe and 80% out of all produced cars initailly to Italy. The German market e.g. did have the strict rule to have am...

Re: ‘67 Spider build.

Ad 1: the chrome name on the boot was Fiat Dino Ad 2: as far as I know only the sliding lock was available for the 2.0 Spiders Ad 3: the 2.0 spiders do have the pininfarina logo plus the symbol on the fenders next to the doors (the 2.4 then did have indicators integrated in this combination); the in...

Re: 2400 Coupe battery box

No Panic, Tobi...

I was referring to the battery and the cover :)

Re: Nice Video

pulling from low-revs without hesitation is a problem which I do have with almost all my Dinos.

Anyone with the same experience and a garage in Europe which solved the problem?

Any hint most welcome.

Best

Re: Two spiders coming up for auction

I am driving again and agian long distances with my Fiat Dinos and I am arriving usually without being tired and worn out. This is not possible with the Ferrari Dinos or the 308 GT4s. The seat position and the way you more a less lie in those cars makes it difficult to have a relaxed long distance t...

Re: Two spiders coming up for auction

The yellow one sold well and cannot be compared with yours, Hugo.

Nevertheless, no one can say what the future will bring and whether the prices will stay stable the next years, specially as all initiatives world-wide are heading for cars without consuming resources.
