Re: Fiat Dino 2400 Coupe - drivetrain vibration
Hi all, I am pulling this thread back up since I have had a vibration in my Dino 2400 but only under very specific conditions. A lot of good information here. However, I *only* get vibrations when accelerating hard from a stop under load. It never happens at speed, only under heavy load when acceler...

Voltage Regulator Adjustment
Hi everyone, I recently realized that my 2400's alternator was putting out too high of a voltage. The specifications call for 14.2 +/- 0.3 Volts at 5,000 RPM. I was running as high as 15.7 at times. Mechanical voltage regulators can be adjusted so a little bit of internet searching led me to a websi...

Re: Petronix replacement for points
Stefan, thanks for posting a link to that video, I had not seen it; it's very good. Also the Emergenza vs. Normale video. Amazing to see the difference in the sparking through the points in the Emergenza setting and the much higher energy at the spark plugs in the Normale setting. Everyone should se...

Re: Fuel pump replacement: BCD to Hardi
Vlad, What I considered was the Hardi performance in terms of flow and pressure since most Facet pumps will exceed the 3 to 3.5 PSI maximum pressure that the Webers will take. The bracket included with the pump allows it to be mounted on the exact position and using the same factory holes so no modi...

Re: which wheels
I'm a stickler for originality so of course I vote for the original Cromodoras (middle picture) WITH the black segments, which is how the 2400s came from the factory. It seems most people delete the black segments when they paint the wheels so original style painted wheels actually stand out. I like...

Fuel pump replacement: BCD to Hardi
Hi everyone, NOTE: --The photo posting functionality is not working as it should so the photos are in reverse order -- I'd like to share my recent experience with my 2400 fuel pump. The pump in my car recently started making a buzzing/light rattling sound very intermittently but the pump still deliv...

Re: Electric Windows - Cable layout - Dino Coupe 2000
The Body spares parts manual for the 2400 coupe shows the diagram below illustrating the path of the cable. I don't know if the 2000 is the same. The only error on the diagram is that the "V" shaped cable path actually goes behind the horizontal cable that it is shown behind it. So the hor...

Re: Tire size
About a month ago I ordered a set of 4 Pirelli CN36 from Longstone, see them here: https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/205-70wr14-pirelli-cinturato-cn36.html Arrived to the US blindingly fast. Ordered them a Sunday afternoon and were received on Thursday, with a not-unreasonable shipping charge of $86....
