Re: Dutch 2.4 Spider
Ciao Scalino, How about changing the switchplate of the new (non fitting) ignition switch into the old one? I had a similar problem to ours with my 2400 coupe and cured it with a new switchplate from holtmannn & Niedergerke. The old one was corroded, dirty and finally had burnt contacts. Georg i...

Re: Restored 2L Spider
Looking at the inner water channels (e.g. thermostat housing ) in detail this does not look like a proper restoration, more like cosmetics.
Really concerning is the lack of any documentation of sills, A-posts and other structural areas.

Re: Air filter - aftermarket options
No, we did not measure the airflow directly - but the benefit of velocity stacks and cooler air intake temperature is evident for decades now and can be easily calculated.

Re: Air filter - aftermarket options
I went the opposite way - my focus was increased air flow, so I developed this solution in cooperation with Formula GT Munich on their dyno. Fiat and Ferrari Dinos have the same design bug, a rectangular sharp edge in the plenum. Dreaming of the Stratos solution, I added some original Weber velocity...

Re: Air filter - aftermarket options
Technically spoken, these aftermarket designs have 2 disadvantages:
1. the air is hotter than with the serial solutions
2. the cylinders 2 and 5 get less air than the others
Furthermore, aftermarket filters in serial housing have no better air flow than the serial cartridge.
