I do not have personal experience (yet, on the list...), but there is a post on the forum with pictures showing the spring compressor type which supposedly works well for the front springs: http://www.fiatdinoforum.org/viewtopic. ... ssor#p3957

Not the best of pictures, but it shows even in bright sunlight which side is LED and which is not:

As they work when you press the washer pump, I would check for 12V at the wiper switch and work from there.

Still do have a strange electrical issue, sometimes when you switch on the ignition it takes some time to give everything 12v. Different amount of time before it turns on every time. When it takes long and you try to start it, it may just run or the engine won’t turn over as it should. Wiggling the...

Congratulations! Is it a “simple” case of getting it running or does it need attention body wise as well?

If you opt to go for the Dinoplex you could check if the 105Workshop in Etten-Leur still has a distributor for sale. They offered one online earlier in the year.
