Great!
You should urgently get a Dino user manual/ technical specifications handbook. There is d lot info on maintenance and adjustments in it.

Re: IGNITION TIMING. HOW TO WITH STROBE LIGHT.
Hi, not exactly what I meant: the ignition advance at idle speed is 10 degrees before TDC. The 10 degree marker is for setting this advance with the strobe light. This is the left marker on the small plate with the two marks/peaks. I hope you have this original plate with the two marks. On the pulle...

Re: IGNITION TIMING. HOW TO WITH STROBE LIGHT.
Hi, no answer yet, so I try to answer. TDC or 3/4 market is for the adjustment of the timing chain/camshafts towards crankshaft. For the ignition you need to use the 10degrees marker - at idle you should have 10 degrees advance ignition. In my experience with modern petrol a bit less sometimes work ...

Hi,
I don’t have a spare set - but these are in total 6 pieces, the bows are separate items. When I remember correct Dinoparts has reproduced them but they are not really cheap…

Re: Chain tensioner leaking
I have no idea how it works to keep the inner part in place and to get it back in into the outer part with heads on, as I have it done always when the heads are taken apart but would be interesting to hear if/how it works.

Re: Chain tensioner leaking
The end with the gear can’t be dragged out to the outside of the head and can/will fall into the engine when you remove the outer part.

Re: Clutch mega problem, need expertise.
You don’t have to cut the pins they are pressed in and can be pressed out. When I remember it right, I have taken out these pins when I renewed my clutch as the 6 screws are holding it on the flywheel.

Re: Chain tensioner leaking
There are two seals: - one paper seal between head and tensioner - an O-Ring under the tensioner cap. While you can unscrew the cap and then see and can exchange the o-ring, the paper seal can only be replaced when the head is disassembled. There is another thing: you still have the old version of t...

Re: 2400 Coupe engine rebuild
Hi Richard, calve clearances are be defined in the Fiat manuals on 0,2 inlet and 0,4 on outlet as in the Ferrari specs it’s ( for the same engine!) 0,15 and 0,30. So I go for the 0,2 and 0,4 but in cases like you describe go for the closer by and lower alternative. But in your example if to choose b...
