Re: Fuel choke
Have a look inside your AEC103. If it's already stuffed with something else, get a Winterburn ignition and put it inside. This is a very good and cheap alternative. If it's still a Dinoplex, test it. If it's definitely broken, get a Winterburn ignition and put it inside. http://www.capacitordischarg...

Re: The 'Humble' Fiat with Race Derived Ferrari V6 - Fiat Dino Coupe
I like the provocative heading of the video
No question that the Coupe is the most elaborated car featuring a Dino engine. It is very underrated. But questioning if it's the best Ferrari is pretty far out on a limb

Re: Fuel choke
Common problem and easy to check is underpressure. The filler cap is closing tighly. I have to screw mine very loosely onto the filler neck.

Re: Fiat Dino 2000 Parts Suppliers
Superformance in UK and Dino Parts in Germany are usually pretty good. However, there are still some issues with their parts. You may search for the parts you need here and can find threads like this: http://www.fiatdinoforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=1766

Re: Oil smoke from one exhaust
Do the easy things first, i.e. replace the valve stem gaskets and adjust the valves. If it's still there, it's leaking on the ring. If it runs fine, accept it. If you start to work on the rings, you have to take the heads off and may do the whole engine.

Re: Oil smoke from one exhaust
How do your spark plugs on the left bank look? All pretty fine or is one oily? I have the same issue since I have my Dino. I had to clean the plug on cylinder 1 regularly since it was full of burnt oil. After replacing the valve stem gaskets and adjusting the valve clearences, it got better, but it ...

Re: Are my hub caps the right ones?
2000 Coupé have entirely stainless steal hub caps, whereas 2400 Coupé hub caps are painted black. The hub cap on the large photo above is for a 2400 coupé. Georg is right regarding the colour. The bottom hub cap in the picture from Superformance is for a 2400 Spider, probably also for a later 2000 ...

Re: Plastic valve caps
I don't know what was usual at that time. Would be interesting to know if they have been delivered with tubes or tubeless.

Re: Are my hub caps the right ones?
As far as I know, there are no differences between 2000 and 2400, but between Coupe and Spider. You have the ones for the Coupe.
