Re: SEARCH! ZF Gearbox 18/3 parts

Davide Cesarini in San Marino restores these and has lots of spares. Also, I think that a competent welding shop will repair it without too much difficulty. Re: Fuel Tank Sending Unit

Hi, I just took the tank out to access the differential, and there is a ground wire that connects to one of the bolts that holds the tank straps. The ground for the fuel pump was also attached there (at least, on my 2400 coupé). The spider is likely different, but this could be a starting point for ...

Re: Chrome trim clips

Hi, I just got mine from autostoria.fr for... 1€ apiece! It took some digging, but they are the same as for the fiat 500. The reference for the part is: BG500005/1 Agrafe de baguettes de bas de caisse - Fiat 500 / 600 / et Divers 0.95€ https://www.autostoria.fr/en/moulding/12448-outer-door-molding-f...

Re: How do I know if engine mounts need replacing?

Hi, you can jack up one side of the engine and remove the engine mount without undoing the headers. Depending on your exhaust, you many need to loosen the 3 in 1 to get some wiggle room. Then you can check what shape it's in and replace if necessary. Not sure that the replacements available are real...

Re: 2.0 Coupe - Removing Starter Motor

I've done it once too many times on my 2.4L. If it it the same, it works like this: -Unclamp and disconnect right exhaust tube from the 3-in-1 manifold. -place a jack under the oil sump and support engine, undo right engine mount -Lift engine a little and remove the exhaust manifolds from the heads ...
