Today I stored it for winter... They started putting salt on the roads again... It's below zero again here at night.
Salt and Italian steel. Not a nice comination.

Started to disassemble it for getting it back to the original paint color over the winter.
Good timing, looks like the rainy/snowy season started here yesterday, so would not be able to drive it anyway.

My Dino is immigrating today to his new homeland. OK, it's not fair to leave Italy for this weather ...

So now that my driving dino is off the road for winter, And my Porsche 928 is running again, I finally have some time to spend at the other dino project car. Always something to do...

Today I removed the oil feed lines from my 2400 Coupe's auxiliary vacuum pump so that I can take them to be remade with new hose and hopefully stop the oil leaks.

This thing might be the most unnecessarily complicated 'thing' on any car I have ever owned - it's an air-pump (therefore plumbed into the vacuum system), it's oil-lubricated (therefore plumbed into the cylinder head's lubrication system) and is driven by an electric motor, with a relay, and a pressure switch, and a fuse. And it's rubber mounted. And the hanger for the windshield washer reservoir bag is welded to it.

Does any other car need an aux-vacuum pump?

Today it's the first day for my Dino in Berlin.
On the one week journey to Berlin the car had rain and snow for 45 years.

Today, after a careful warm-up period, I gave my Dino an Italian tune-up.

Today I replaced the alternator (see technical section)
- and replaced the voltage regulator
- and fixed the door locks
- and painted the horn compressor

but couldn't test drive it because one of the aux-air-pump oil-feed lines is away being repaired.
