Having both a Dino Coupé 2400 and a Fiat 130 Coupé in my stable, I can confirm that both engines have just one thing in common: The shims to adjust valve clearance. ALL the rest is different.

The 130 engine was a development by Aurelio Lampredi with the 128 type A engine as basis.

Lampredi developed a toothbelt driven version with 2 crossflow cilinderheads and twin overhead camshafts.
This engine was now called the "130 type A". It was a 2866 cc engine and produced around 140 BHP at 5600 rpm.

Now as far as the "130 type B" is concerned, it had an increased bore of 102 mm instead of 96 mm, which resulted in a capacity of 3,235 cc and a power output of 165 bhp also at 5600 rpm!

Both the A and B version had indeed a V-angle of 60 degrees as opposed to the 65 degree of all Dino engines.
