Re: PIX of everyone's dinos please!
Thanks Dan.
Can anyone comment on the likelihood of whether valves replaced in 1998 are likely to be sodium filled or not? Should I get the heads off anyway? Any guidance on this much appreciated.

Hi Hugo, was just admiring you car... simply stunning congrats.
Also hi to Grand Turismo, any chance you could post a pic or 2 of that colour chart… I'm very curious about the colours used in '67-'68.
Cheers
John

Dirk – thank you for the offer, that would be great. I will send you a private message with the invoice.
Thanks for your generous comments John. I can't take any credit for the car - other than snapping up a good 'un! I bought it with a very thorough cosmetic restoration just complete (bare metal respray, rechromed everything, all new seals, retrim in leather, etc, all photo documented). The mechanicals are unrestored but seemingly original, un-mucked-about-with and have been regularly maintained. I am still waiting for the forms to register the car in the UK so am in the frustrating position of having only driven it a couple of test miles!
I am trying to establish whether the colour used by the paintshop was a faithful match to Grigio Argento 605 but originality has been apparent in the other work done (even a very badly scratched quarter light was ground and buffed back to life so as to preserve the kite-marked glass rather than replace it) so I'm hopeful. The red leather is slightly paler than full-on pillar box red - I've attached some photos which give a truer impression of the colour. The original red vinyl was much darker, almost maroon. Personally I prefer black interiors, but the red / silver combo works well.
Cheers, Hugo

Regarding the Fiat Dino colors I have the codes and kart for all exept the 2.0 Spider.Dino John wrote:Hi Hugo, was just admiring you car... simply stunning congrats.

On the Coupe 2.0 and 2.4 only the red and black have the same color code so it was a lot of new colors on the coupe 2.4 model.
I do not know if it was the same situation on the Spider
Here are the colors codes on the 2,4 Coupe and 2.4 Spider.

Very nice Dino! Looks like Sierra Nevada in the background.
