Five year restoration...complete!
I have just got my car back after a meticulous five year restoration at the hands of UK Dino guru Mark Devaney - see photo blog at https://www.hugoharris.com/
I'm still running the engine in so taking things gently, but she is a joy to drive. Happy to provide further details of any of the work done.
Big shout out to Tobi, Adrian and all the other regulars here who helped with so many questions. Would be great to see any of you who make it over to Goodwood in 2021, Covid permitting!

Congratulations! What a beauty!
Would have been in time for the Revival.
One reason more for looking forward to Goodwood Revival 2021. I was able to shift my reservation to next year without losing the down payment for the house. I'll be there if things get back to normal.

Hi Hugo,
Kudos to you on that fabulous restoration! I absolutely adore silver/red on these cars, it really works with the exterior as well as the lovely interior. Congratulations, man. I think there are many of us in this forum who know how tough it is do do them and do them right, and feel the same little breath of fresh air when seeing a finished product. My car (also out of Rome by way of the Netherlands) Is now on year six, and I hope the last. Drive it like you stole it!

Wow Hugo, it looks incredible!
But it’s ready for another 40.000 miles? Just 40.000...?!

Silver with red leather is an awesome combo, congratulations.
I’m starting a restoration now, red with black leather, I hope I can get even close to the original colour. My car had a repaint in the late 70’s. I’m hoping it wasn’t to hide accident damage. But I can’t find any non magnetic body parts and only a small amount of surface rust.
The red paint under the trunk/boot paint appears to be original red.
Again we’ll done.
