I have noticed that the 2.4 Dinos used dash backing support that were used on the 2.0
My dash came out fantastic, I am using Griots Vinyl dressing.... Works like a champ!
Let your wires or dash soak all night, then come back the next day to wipe it off.

We made great progress to 1492
The engine is now in, the transmission and axle are now in.
This is amazing to me, the car is coming along nicely.
How often do you get to see 2 Fiat dino spider 2.4 in the same garage at the same time?

To my amazement, this Dino reassembly is moving along faster than anticipated.
The work is amazing, nothing like working on a clean car!

Looking at the progress it gives me the impression that this will be the best sample on earth later. Congratulations.

Hi Olivier,
I agree with Argonaut! Just beautiful. I wish you a fabulous time as you go down the home stretch.
You have a lovely burgundy spider on the lift next to you. It looks like a spa for Dino's. Is that car paint code #162, same as mine? I haven't seen many.
Keep up the good work,
Ed

This car was garaged since 1989.
Now, it's got the full treatment.
Everything was redone, complete engine rebuilt, brake booster, brakes.... practically every nuts and bolts.
The body has been meticulously brought back to factory with zero body filler.
The burgundy dino next to mine just so happen to be John Fink 2.4, how wild is t hat!
Having two 2.4 Dino side by side is a rare sight.

I was lucky to have picked a car that was a good candidate, low production and desirable.
The crazy thing is that I never once drove the car. One may say, it was a leap of faith on my part.
I think it will surprise me in a good way wen it will be done.

Suspension is in, the steering column is in, choosing between the original Fiat or Vintage nardy wheel.

The windshield is finally in with no damage to the glass.
Re-installing the windshield was proved to be harder than it looks.
We had to remove the dash to properly install the glass, it only took 4 hrs to do it correctly.
Now we are finishing up the electrical and brakes. Next week we should finish up some of the hoses and add all the fluids!
