Bonhams just presented a 2 litre Spider at the Scottsdale auction. From the photos the Dino looked to be in decent condition, but with non-
original interior, centre console, steering wheel, rear emblem, etc. Bonhams listed the serial number as AS 000 0438, saying "which is part of
the engine number 135 B 000488" , and claiming that 1.650 Fiat Dinos were manufactured between 1966 - 1969....???
Where do they find all this "information" ??
- I followed the auction on line and understood it as the car was sold, for 120.000 USD plus 10 %, making a total of 132.000 USD.
Now I can´t find it in the result list. Maybe it was not sold, after all?

I suppose that if they had consulted us or the Mike Morris book, they would have come up with something different!
