Dash removal 1967 Dino Coupe

There are 6 Allen head [4 mm hex key] bolts on what appears to be a removable top portion of the dash. Removing those 6 bolts does not seem to release the top portion of the dash. What is holding it in place? Assuming that it is even possible, how does one remove the top portion only?

Has anyone removed the entire dash? Any help on what sort of fasteners must be removed and the location of those fasteners would be appreciated. Thanks, Ben.

The top portion of the dash does indeed come out by it's own but is a tight fit. You may need to remove the a-pillar plastic trim(3 screws) to give you more room.
The rearward straighter edge should gently come up a bit first. Note the foam surrounding the underside of the vents on the dash will hinder the removal but it should wriggle out at an angle(front lower, rear higher),until the steering wheel and possible a-pillars get in the way a bit.
