I'm working on my front bumper and have it apart. I see the replacement gaskets that go between the bumper sections, but I don't know where these gaskets fit on my bumpers:

Can anyone tell me where they go on the bumpers?
Thanks, Ben.

this is only for the coupe.. it fit at the end of the bumper..
Re: Mystery bumper gaskets Dino coupe 2000
These gaskets were missing from the front bumper, which is at the chrome plating shop now getting the dents and scratches buffed/polished out.
These gaskets are intact on my rear bumper. It appears that they are held in place by compression of the bumper up against the fender, at least that is the way they are on the rear. Should the front bumper ends also be snug up against the fender compressing and holding these gaskets in place? Thanks, Ben.

You should tape up the wing area then trial fit the bumper to make sure there is a tiny gap.,when satisfied then refit with the rubber end gaskets. If you have compression this will eventually lead to the bumper splitting the gasket.
Re: Mystery bumper gaskets Dino coupe 2000
What holds the gasket in place if there is not a little bit of compression?
Thanks, Ben.

Re: Mystery bumper gaskets Dino coupe 2000
The recess in the gasket prevents it from moving . If you really wanted you could put a dab of contact adhesive between the gasket and bumper. That is what was also used to hold on the rubber boot seal, the front wing rear seal, the sill seals and door jam seal.
