1971 2400 Coupe Keys

Post by Peter Tabmow »

Okay, not so technical but still a matter of hardware details... I would like to find a door/trunk key blank for my 1971 2400 Coupe, which is missing this key. Below is the owner's manual illustration showing the FT37 style of this key (lower drawing) which is cut on one side only, and apparently the same style as the Fiat 130. At the same time, we have found a 2000 Coupe key cut from a modern blank which fits the door lock on the car which is cut symmetrically on both sides. Finally, there are original 2000 Coupe keys using the FT33 style (also shown below) which are also cut on both sides. Can anyone tell me the correct style and cut for a 1971 2400 Coupe key? Can any 1971 2400 Coupe owners let me know what their keys look like? Thanks for any help.

The small one is for doors en fuelcap. The big one is to turn on the engine
