I am still wondering that "chain" noise when engine is cold. Here is better sample from today: http://harrasteet.1g.fi/kuvat/Fiat+Dino ... 05_Pro.mp4
Is it possible that chain quide is totally worn out and there is metal to metal? It's better when engine is warmed up.
Can I replace chain quide only removing tensioner?
Hello Jukka,
Beautiful car...Love the color combination!
My car sounded EXACTLY like yours when I received it last fall. It had a combination of very loose cam chains and a rusty right exhaust collector that combined to give some pretty frightening sounds. It's all apart on my mechanic's work bench now.
I think you are on exactly the right track with your repairs!
Welcome to the forum and I look forward to following your progress. Hang in there.

I have lots of spare parts which came along car. For examble all gauges, two rounds hedlights (clear and yellow), wood trims, ignition unit (early), 5 magnesium wheels, window trims, rear schocks, complete rear and front chassis etc..

Are these worth something?
Yes, the differential gear is definitely sought-after. Also the ignition and trim parts. Keep them! Don't scrap anything.
