Re: Ignition Rotor weight springs.

Hi, I redid mine thanks to Adrian's help. Superformance was very kind and actually sent me a set of the springs for free (that is all I needed). I think I still have a couple if you are interested I could try to dig them up. If you do not have a testing machine, you need to put it back in the car and test it each time you adjust one of the springs. The vibrations of the engine kind of help to keep it from getting stuck... A timing light with an adjustable advance and an accurate rpm meter are also necessary. I also repaired the worn groove in the bell (made a mould of the inside and glued the thin steel from a tape measure), changed all the bearings, etc. It was a PITA mounting and dismounting it, but well worth it: It completely changed the engine, no more backfires and great response (I went with the 10° advance Adrian suggested).

Good luck,

Dario
