Replacement alternator

Post by Dario »

Hi, my alternator failed recently due to a worn bearing. I'm pretty sure it can be fixed, and I have a schematic if anyone is interested. As it turns out, there is a manufacturer that is selling the same model, but new. It took me some time to find it, and though it might save someone else the hassle! BTW, the one for the Ferrari Dino is a little longer

Model: DaSilva 01231, an exact replica of the A12M 124/12/47.

Here are some pictures, I have already swapped the pulley belt for the original one.

Nice work. From whom did you buy it and how much does it cost?

Hi, I found it at a local auto parts store for 250 € inc VAT. Superformance sells it for about the same (-VAT), but I suppose shipping would be pretty expensive.
