Fiat Dino Coupé - leather interior

Post by patrizio »

Hello,
I am looking for information (matching body colors-carpet-leather upholstery) and especially photographs of leather interior Fiat Dino Coupé (only 2000 version cc).
Who had original photos or photos of car preserved, booklets seller or texts of any kind relating to the above please let me have news.
thanks

Patrizio

Thanks Toby ;)
but those are the pairings that you linked to internal standards in ski.
I'm trying to learn if such combinations existed for the optional leather interior

I recently sold a 2.0 liter coupe that had its original leather interior. The car was rusty and the interior very dry. These photos might be of help. The "snake bite" pattern might be a challenge to reproduce.

Thank you Ivan,
your photos are very important for me.
Are you sure that the interior upholstery of the seats were original and has not been rebuilt?
Do you remember if the door panels and rear side panels were made of leather?
Have you got any photos of these too?
Thanks again ;)

Hello Patrizio,

Not all patterns where the same. My car has the leather interior without the "snake bite" pattern.
In the book "FIAT DINO - Le vetture che hanno fatto la storia ",there is a picture of the interior in an early 1967 model.
The door and rear side panels are in leather as well as the centre console ( that is the console itself , not the centre part in which come the ashtree, handbrake and gearshift ).
The armrests are also in leather.
Important to note is that the leather door and side panels don't have the superior design line in them and that the back of the front seats is not ' ribbled' as in the skai variant.

If you want I can take pictures of my interior.

Regards,
Dirk

I have the book you mentioned, and I have in mind the photo to which you're referring to, but if you look carefully was taken to a salon, probably Geneve, when the car was showed, and could be a version of the pre-set series specifically for the salon.
For this reason it is very important for me to find photos of the interior leather car original and unrestored, which may have been reconditioned "fantasy."
If you are sure that your car's interior were never restored, your photos for me are of great importance and value.
Can post them directly on the topic or send e-mail peritoniccoli@libero.it

Patrizio

PS
if you can answer me speak in Italian, for me it is easier :D
