2.0 Coupe rear interior trim removal

Post by JeremyC »

I'm trying to remove the rear interior trim on a 2.0 coupe. These are the pieces that would be door cards if the car had rear doors. How are they fixed on please? They seem very firm so I'm assuming it's not push fir door card clips.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

If memory serves me I believe you need to first remove the rear window opening knob then remove the rear seat bases, then put your arm up the lower gap at the trim panel and unscrew the three 7mm? nuts from the underside of the fore arm rest pad then unscrew three screws from inner face of the "hand grip",then carefully pull out and then down from window chrome trim. Remember the wires attached to the lights. If you do this could you let me know where the wire from the B post goes to,see photo.
