Hi For my Fiat Dino Coupe 1971 I am looking for a Dinoplex casing because it is missing..!
I am going to upgrade my system to Adrian Bosch conversion and want to put the controller in the Dinoplex casing.
Best regards
Tom

Re: WANTED: DinoPlex housing or case AEC 103
today I gave an order to a casting company to reproduce 3 casings.
If they turn out right I can reserve one for you.
But looking at your bolt pattern it must have been delivered originally with the large box or am I wrong?
By the way, your custom chopperwheel is on it's way

Stefan,
I had responded earlier to your inquiry about interest in a "new" Dinoplex casting since my otherwise original Dino has the Elma ignition box. I too am interested in obtaining one of your casting if the quality is good. Also, as I intend to fit Adrien's electronics with a Lumenitron pick up, I will also need one of your custom rotor choppers. You can pm me the price and I will give you mailing address (in the States).

I'll let you know the price as soon as I know more. It really depends on how they turn out and how much machining it will need afterwards.
If quality turns out to be good i'll reserve one for you. It will take 2 or 3 weeks before they'll be done.

Re: WANTED: DinoPlex housing or case AEC 103
Hi Stefan,
Iam not sure with which one my car was supplied orignally, from the bolt pattern maybe the big one indeed..... I asked Adrian if he can tell me which one was fitted original based on my chassis no.
Or are there any other ways to find out how my car was delivered?
Kind regards
Tom

Re: WANTED: DinoPlex housing or case AEC 103
Today I received the reproduction dinoplex cases. I have 3 cases made and I'm quite happy with the results. The new aluminum is still a bit to shiny but if necessary they can be sand/glass blasted and I guess they will be a nice and quite close to original replacement.

The cases look good. It's an acceptable solution if a Dinoplex is not at hand.
