Hi John,
That car belongs to a friend of mine, Derek Brewer, and the picture was taken at an Italian Car Show in the city centre of Bristol, in the West of England. My 2400 spider (1319) is parked alongside.
Derek's car is painted in a Ferrari colour: Rosso Dino.
On the subject of Rosso Ossido, I've only ever seen one car painted that colour (a 2000 coupe in the late 1980's/early 1990's). It wasn't (in my opinion) a very flattering colour. I do like a deeper red than my car (Corso Rosso 120). I've seen a 2000 spide rin Rosso Chiaro (Cherry red?), and it looked very good.

What you see in the picture is my Coupé (many many many years ago ), and its color is Red Oxide 163

Hi Patrizio
Are you sure that your Dino Coupe 2.0 have the color code 163 oxide red ?
If you see this German color kart of 2.0 coupe it also have oxide red but the color code is here is 197 oxide red.
There is not so many color codes you find on both 2.0 and 2.4 coupe.Red 120,black 601 and maybe silver 606 is the same as far as I know.
I know the 163 oxide red is used on the 2400 coupe and here is a nice photo of one.

grand Turismo, you're right
I was wrong
In fact, previously to sandblast the car, I found some parts of the car (the inside of the doors for example)
painted, instead of red oxide 163, in the original color that was just the 197.
Probably, when the car was repainted in the 80s, someone made a mistake.
Bought from Brian Boxall in 2007, first owner was Berhard Cahier who got it from Sergio Pininfarina. Having bought a "good" 2.4 coupe (4178) at the height of the market in 1988 from Naples, to find it needed, engine, gearbox, diff and so much else and more time than I care to remember that when I finally sold it I determined the next one would be a spider but more importantly the best I could find, this seemed to fit the bill. Original apart from the paint.(1239)

My Spider 2.0 on its way from Rome to its new home in belgium last summer...in the mean time the car has been rewired, engine completely revised ..now considering what to do with this non-standard yellow
It's not Colorado Yellow, is it? I thought I've seen that as a Dino spider color choice somewhere along the way.... I have a Fiat 124 spider in Colorado Yellow and it looks quite similar to your Dino photo. Cheers.

Mine's just had a respray by Classic Road in Madrid. Does anyone know if silver was an original colour for a 1971 2400 Spider? The interior has been retrimmed in red leather, replacing the original red vinyl. The engine had some work on the heads 5 years ago but the invoices are in Dutch so I'm not sure what was done. It had new valves, seats, etc. back in 1998. What is the likelihood that the new ones they put in are sodium filled?
Your Spider looks fantastic in the combo Silver /Red.
Regarding your question if silver is a original color on Spider. It was available and called Grigio Argento, code 605.It is not the same as 2400 Coupe that has code 606.
On my color kart it is not a big diffrence beetween this 2 colors.
