Looks to me more or less like the same car... no pictures from underneath which Iwould request first. Compression test should be demanded next. Overall, looks like being repainted once but you cannot tell by this shiny outer what this car is all about.
And...the Italiens know what these cars do cost these days if in a good condition (even though a high price does not alwas say something about the condition necessarily).
Dashboard cracked... otherwise the interior looks fine.

It is the same car.
Compression test is a good idea.

I note :
- strange cooling tank (I'm not sure of the term)
- strange wiring on the coil (maybe I'm wrong)

Coil wiring is not strange. It's the original Dinoplex setup. If it's working in Normale mode this is very good!

Toni,
A little off subject, why are the original coils so special that they can’t be copied?

The BZR205A that is used with the Dinoplex 101 is 2 coils in 1. That's why it has 3 terminals. You can switch the coils with the EMERGENZA/NORMALE switch on the Dinoplex. If the Dinoplex fails, you switch to EMERGENZA mode and the Dinoplex will by bypassed. However, you need different coil specs for operation only on points. That's why you need to switch to the EMERGENZA coil that is besides the NORMALE coil inside the coil housing.

Thanks Tobi,
Based on that information! Would it be possible to run the Dinoplex on two external coils rather than change to a different system?

Two external coils are used by the Dinoplex 103 setup. This might also be possible with a 101, but I have not yet tested it. Maybe there is an issue I don't know that would prevent this.
