Just the knob? Hold the chrome stick and turn the knob. Very unlikely the thread is broken. To remove the chrome stick with the knob, lift or lower the gaiter. You will see it is stuck in the real stick. There is a white plastic bit with a screwdriver pry it down. Lift up the chrome stick.

Hi, is it possible to add centerlocking to normal cromodora wheels? Is it just spinner hubs or do I have to have special wheels for that? I have extra set (5) coupe wheels.

Should -71 2400 Coupe wheel center cups be painted black or polished steel? Seen both variations.

Hi I had one of the exhaust headers leaking. The cause was a cracked weld between flat manifold to head plate ,mild steel and down pipe stainless. I found it at night by seeing the bright blue flashes with a mirror,
Hope this helps chris

Hi, I know its a long time ago, but I have exactly the same noise on start up from cold. then it goes after a few minutes and when warm. did you get to the bottom of it? Id love to know if you get a minute. Thanks Keven

Your post: I am still wondering that "chain" noise when engine is cold. Here is better sample from today: http://harrasteet.1g.fi/kuvat/Fiat+Dino ... 05_Pro.mp4
Is it possible that chain quide is totally worn out and there is metal to metal? It's better when engine is warmed up.
Can I replace chain quide only removing tensioner?

on the dino..the fuel pump should not be eared when the ignition is turned on(unless the wiring was modified)
there is a sensor on your oil filter housing that measure oil pressure after rotating the engine with the starter.. when that pressure is high enough the oil pump kicks in.. This is to insure enough oil pressure to the cams on start up..If your car seats a lot , it will take a few seconds of cranking for the fuel pump to get the signal(ground).. Having a strong starter is imperative ..
