Pulled the engine this afternoon, and I could take a closer look at the damage on cylinder 5 and 6, they have taken some serious beating..
Tomorrow I will pull the right bank head, just to make sure if there is any damage there?
The weekend I will make a cradle and get it ready to ship out...

Yes, it´s a real deal...
I did the chain adjustment, according to the manual, slack and turn the engine 2 time by hand, and tighten the adjuster bolt.
In my own opinion, this adjustment has provoked some weak internal part in the motor? but this is all a guess?
I was aware of a sound, that I thought was a worn clutch bearing, because that sound stopped, after 2400 RPM and went back on below, knowing now, that it was not a clutch bearing

Friday afternoon, and the motor and gearbox was separated, motor, carburetor, starter, Dinoplex etc. was put in a box, and are know ready for pickup this week to come, hopefully it will arrive in Holland within the next 10 days and Nose2Tail Classic Car Engineering will do their magic...
While the motor are out, I will clean the engine compartment, replace all the steering linkage and most of the bushings up front.

Thank you, yes 280 m2 are nice to have, when you have a car or two, that are grounded for some time...
I´ll keep you all posted, when there are news, tomorrow the engine will be picked up and sent to Holland.

Yes, a 1971 240Z - Sahara Gold, with some goodies under the hood...

Hello,
I owned also a 240Z in 2016, but I paid ways too much
Was a note 1 car, totally restaured
But alltimes trouble with the new spanish made Weber carbs.....so I sold it with a heavey lost.....but better for my nerves
