Fuel Door Flap.

The P.O. of the 1967 Coupe I am working on had a fuel door, however I don't think it is from a Dino coupe.
There is a hole for a (chrome) tab, which I do not think is stock. Also, there is a bracket/lever that looks to be for the attachment of a spring to close the door.

I've looked for photos and in the parts book, but details are sparse. Is this the correct door?

Hi, maybe helps this picture from my 2400 Coupe. As the door had no lock some placed a lock later into it to prevent petrol being stolen. Looks as such a thing in your case. KR Thomas

I somewhere have a fuel door as a spare without a hole for a lock. If I find it I post a picture.

Is there a spring that assists the door?
If so, where does it attach to the body?

There should be a spring , which fits on the lower bracket. I will try and get a photo if possible.

This is the spring which closes the flap.

Where can I get one?
The usual sources do not have it.

I can’t imagine these weren’t used in other Fiats of the era, so I would have a look at 124 part suppliers.

124 Spiders (PinninFarina) uses a different system. The 124 Sport Coupe (Bertone) - looked around for the spring but no luck.
