Fuel Sending Unit in 2 Liter

Post by solomed »

I'm changing out the semi-functioning fuel sending unit on my 1968 Fiat Dino 2 liter. The fuel line connecting the unit to the car fuel line is rock hard. It looks like a green Cavis 7 x 12 line if you look at the enclosed picture. Have any of you used a Cavis or just a plain black fuel line in the same size. In the past Cavis lines get rock hard from the ethanol in the gas here in the US.

Thanks

Better use a modern line / modern material. Safety first and you did not see it anyhow. That’s how I do / did it.

Did you use a 7 x 12 fuel line?

I think I have used 8x14.
And on the 2,4 Dino in addition 6x11 for the return line.
