Hi all,
each front caliper of the Dino 2400 has 2 brake hoses that need to be mounted in a certain angle on the caliper.
The angle is defined by 4 small brackets marked with the letters:
SS
IS
SD
ID
Could anyone please state what this stands for and how the brake lines need to be aligned? A picture would be fantastic.
Just wanna make sure everything is a 100% alright...
Thanks a lot
Bijan

Re: Alignment brake hoses front, Fiat 2400
Just a guess, but it makes sense if you translate from Italian:
SS= Left upper
IS = Left Lower
SD= Right Upper
ID= right Lower
S=sinistra/left
D=destra/right
I=inferiore/lower
S=superiore/upper
SS= Left upper
IS = Left Lower
SD= Right Upper
ID= right Lower
S=sinistra/left
D=destra/right
I=inferiore/lower
S=superiore/upper

Hi DRW46,
thank you very much, I had already assumed this is how you place the brackets correctly.
I will try it like this and hope the hoses can be mounted tension free. If not I will post here
again.
Thanks again

...just coming back from the car. If I mount the brackets like this it looks like shown in the picture below.
As you see, no tension on the hoses at maximum angle which is fine, but I am a bit worried the hoses might touch the springs
once the car is standing on it's wheels again...
Cheers
