Glovebox Photos

Post by johnharrill »

I'm looking for photos of the glovebox in a 1967 Coupe.
Specifically, the latch mechanism and where it catches in the box.

Thanks.

That is not among the parts that came with the car, however.
I made a catch out of aluminum.

In the process of lining the box with vinyl.

If you need me to take the catch off and get the measurements of the original plastic piece, just let me know.
Good luck.
Ben.

I was able to craft a solution to the latch. It works.
In looking at the glove box location, the underside of the dash is open to the glove box in this car. Is there a piece that sits in the dash above the box?

The wires are exposed to the top of the box in mine.
