I would like to give some maintenance to the compressor. Is there a specific way to do it? The required oliofiat OCT is no longer in production. What kind of light oil do you suggest to add?

Re: Horn compressor maintenance
They are simple to overhaul .
Remove the top plate three screws , inside there should be a brass filter guaze on the outer edge where the air enters at the top of the casing , its friction fit , pull it out carefully clean in petrol or solvent and replace. Next to this there should be a little absorbant pad which soak the oil up when you lift the red cap up to lube it . Most I have found have this missing . In the centre there is a steel compresor blade thats spin out when the motor turns and creates the compressed air thats sounds the horn . That need normnally needs a light clean and 3 in 1 oil applied to it . You can remove blade but becareful there is a small ball bearing which drives the assembly , dont lose this or the compressor motor will not spin . There is no gasket on the top plate .. Besides that make sure all teh electrica connectiosn are cleaned and all should work fine once more.

FYI
In an early edition of Mark Devaneys rebuild of the red Spider ( about #3 or 4) he dies a rebuild on the air horns. Just as a make you feel good project in the loooooong haul project of a total rebuild.
Much the same as Andrews response.
