Installing a Dinoplex

I’m putting a new Dinoplex in my car.
It had an MDS 5 in it before.
I’ve got all the wires to the coil and distributor correctly hooked up. I took the wiring distributor on the Dinoplex off and double checked.
The MDS 5 had a wire run from the ignition switch. I hooked this to the power in on the unit.
Question do the blue and brown wires have to be hooked to the coil as shown in the fiat wiring diagram?
Both the red wire from the ignition switch and the blue from the starter have power when I turn the ignition on.
But I am not getting any humming sound from the Dinoplex.
I did check the two oil pressure wires are on the right sender. ( I had the engine out for steam cleaning)
Engine turns over strongly and new fuel system is pumping strong.
Mañana I’ll have a friend help me check for spark.
Thanks in advance
Michael

The original 12 Volt feed for the Dinoplex is coming through the blue wire (out of the wire harness at the right inner wing). This should be
connected to B+ at the ignition coil.

The brown wire is feeding the rev counter, and should be connected to the D terminal at the ignition coil ballast resistor. Also, the black
wire from the distributor should be connected to the same terminal.

There should be four, thick red wires going from the ignition coil to the Dinoplex:

Wire marked B+ should be connected to B+ terminal at the ignition coil
Wire with green marker should be connected to K terminal at the ignition coil
Wire with yellow marker should be connected to A terminal at the ignition coil ballast resistor
Wire with D marker should be connected to D terminal at the ignition coil ballast resistor

Perhaps this helped?

Thanks Dinoswede
I’m heading to the shop now so I’ll recheck all the wirings
I don’t have the cloud codes on the red wires, it’s why I opened up the terminal block on the unit.

Did you have look at the Dinoplex wiring diagrams here? Which Dinoplex do you have? The 103 does not hum.
