HI all i hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy new year to all

Over the holiday period i removed the rear axle of our 67 Dino Spider to find some white lettering on the rear of the diff case.

Could/would anyone know the meaning or reference to these , they read BWA 347.

I don't think it has any special meaning and it certainly wasn't original.
original part numbers are embossed.
Maybe the differential was replaced in the past and that was a internal part number from the spare parts dealer/scrap dealer
