Hi,

I disassembled the rear brakes today and I was asking myself if the marked areas (see attached picture) on the rear brake calipers need to be lubricated. They haven't been lubricated on my car, however I think they actually should since there is movement in the parts every time I break, if I am right.

many thanks, I will thoroughly clean the areas and lubricate them, making sure everything glides well. It's really interesting the area is not protected from dust. The rear caliper is indeed a unique construction...
