I appreciate the color codes, thanks, but have further questions. Were the 2400 Spiders painted by Pininfarina before shipment to Ferrari, or was the bare body/chassis painted by Ferrari when they assembled the cars in Maranello? If the spider was dinged during assembly, who repainted/touched them up: Ferrari or Pininfarina? Also, I know Ferrari Dinos have a paint code sticker under the boot lid, but I've never seen one on a 2400 spider. Did they have them and what did they look like? Finally, what color was the primer (Ferrari often used yellow under the single-stage Rosso)? Thanks!

Bertone has finished and painted the body and assembled even the complete interior, glass and electrics- for Dino Coupes, Montreals and 850 Spiders.

The a.m. Bertone cars where then hauled to Torino, Maranello or Milano where Powertrain and Chassis were installed.

As far as I remember, same process with Dino Spiders by Pininfarina.
