Hi Guys
I have noticed that the trunk area of my 67 2.0 litre Coupe is painted a gloss black compared to the matt /flat black in the engine bay.
Looking for opinions, thoughts on if this is original and what others have in there cars...

Mine is matt black with some vinyl at the sides and black carpet floor. Not sure whether this is fully original. My guess is that gloss black is not correct as all other black surfaces seem matt black but I may be wrong.

Flat Black as the engine bay. Also visible on the body shell under trim and upholstery. The original trunk trim was a medium weight marled charcoal grey looped pile carpet stock. At least that was in my car in1979 and very original. Their should be remnants of the original material on the backside of the rear seats, unless they was reupholstered.
