Is a Champion N60Y (new old stock) a good spark plug for a Dino 2400 coupe?

Re: Manufacturing date?

Erik: Many thanks for your detailed reply. I'm afraid I don't have easy access to the engine number, but I do see from your sorted-by-chassis-number file that my 4915 comes quite a few cars after the transitional build numbers in January 1971. To make this easier – maybe! – what I really want to kno...

Manufacturing date?

Is there any way to get a general idea – month and year would be good enough – when a particular 2400 Dino Coupe chassis number would have been built? My car is number 0004915. Thanks for any help any of the assembled Dinoisti can provide!

What a treat! Do I detect the dulcet tones of Raymond Baxter in the narration?

Re: Common Parts

Not that I know of, but I have been keeping track of the alternative part numbers I find for some years now, so I have some (for the 2.4 at least). I guess the best would be a spreadsheet excessible to everyone would be best, so everyone can add them when they find them? I would be happy to share m...

Re: Common Parts

I'd be happy to help format the spreadsheet in a way that makes it as easy as possible to add items... It could be a great resource.

Re: Seat belts for 1967 Dino coupe

If you have the caps at the base of your 2000 Coupe B-pillar, then I think you are all set for installing static three-point belts – and probably without having to remove the rear door cards.

Re: Seat belts for 1967 Dino coupe

I believe that's the recommended mounting point for a fixed shoulder belt indicated in the owner's manual diagram below. The black cap may have been standard for 2400 Coupes without belts or fitted by the specialist seat belt shop to cover the mounting for the old fixed belts. I was told by the spec...

Re: Seat belts for 1967 Dino coupe

I had mine fitted by a classic car seat belt specialist in the UK. Here are two photos of their installation for the front belts (not my actual car): FDBeltInstall08.jpg FDBeltInstall01.jpg Note how the belt is fed behind the rear armrest storage compartment to the inertia reel. The result is perfec...
