Lovely car and would appreciate any tips on ownership and how to look after it. Have just joined this Forum after being rejected from Ferrari Dino Owners Forum !

Long story short - what I would do with this lovely Coupe:

- I would keep all the patina, the optical damages and cosmetical wear because this is the charm and the spirit of this car
- under the surface , I would repair/renovate/renew all technical parts and also eliminate any structural rust from sills and A-pillars etc. to have a safe and reliable car - brake system, chassis bushes, dampers, clutch ...

My coupe has a 41 year old paint from 1981 with dents and scratches, but from the bottom, it shows "mint condition"

WLees-Jones, I notice your Coupe has hubcaps from a Spider - yours should be domed. If the ones fitted to your car are original they are valuable and would be worth something to a Spider owner (like me!) The correct domed variety are much more common so you should be able to source orignal items, and good reproductions are available from the usual places. This is probably low on your list of priorities, but thought I would mention it!

Thank you - I have read Mike Morris's book (which came with the car) but I am not up to speed on hub caps and so this is something that I will bear in mind. Thank you for letting me know about this. KR
