NOT a Dinoplex ignition

I have just imported a 1972 dino 2400 coupe that was a gold medal winner from the Fiat Italian registry. The car looks great in Betulla Grigo and drives very well. However, the ignition system (though transistorized) is not the expected Dinoplex AEC 103a. In it's place is a finned aluminam case with the name ELMA on the label. The car runs on a red (no name )ignition coil and has a black one mounted as the backup.

Can someone tell me if this is an aftermarket replacement for the often troublesome Dinoplex? Adrien, your thoughts, please.....

This is an Italian aftermarket ignition of the 70s that could be used to replace a Dinoplex. Something similar than an MSD is now in the US.

Thanks for the quick response--the picture certainly identifies it! Unfortunately my german is restricted to phrases like eine bier, bitta so I need some help translating all the info in your link.

No problem in a few words:
FrankG had the same question than you. He bought a Dino with this ignition. Adrian confirmed that this is an Italian Dinoplex replacement of the 70s. No problem to use it in a Dino. Even if it is not original, it is at least from the era. The rest of the discussion is about the change from the big Dinoplex (AEC101) to the small one (AEC103) in the Coupe around 71.
