What goes here under the dash

If you look at the photo,its the bracket in top centre where the red wire goes. This is under the dash just left of the steering wheel and very close to the interior light,which makes me doubt if it would be for another interior light.

It's #26 on the Wiring diagram. Inspection lamp socket. There are 3 whites and 2 red wires connect to it. The two whites go to the interior lights, one other goes to open door warning lights. One red goes to electric horn +, the other red goes to highway/city horn switch. I just spent some time go over these.

I have a question regarding the inspection lamp socket. was that one of the part that came with the car when new?
